Given below are two statements.
Let F(x) be an indefinite integral of \(\sin ^{2} x\)
Statement - 1: The function F(x) satisfies \(\mathrm{F}(\mathbf{x}+\pi)=\mathrm{F}(\mathbf{x})\) for all real x.
because
Statement - 2: \(\sin ^{2}(x+\pi)=\sin ^{2} x\) for all real x.
In the light of the above statements, choose the correct answer from the options given below:
- Both Statements are true and Statement - 2 is the correct explanation for Statement - 1
- Both Statements are true but Statement-2 is not a correct explanation for Statement - 1
- Statement - 1 is true and Statement - 2 is false
- Statement - 1 is false and Statement - 2 is true
Answer
(A) Both Statements are true and Statement - 2 is the correct explanation for Statement - 1
