A conducting sphere of radius \(R\) is given a charge \(Q\) . Consider three points \(A, B\) and \({C}-{A}\) at the centre, B at a distance \({R} / 2\) from the centre and C on the surface of the sphere. The electric potentials at these points are such that:
- \({V}_{{A}}={V}_{{B}}={V}_{{C}}\)
- \(V_{A}=V_{B} \neq V_{C}\)
- \(V_{A} \neq V_{B} \neq V_{C}\)
- \(V_{A} \neq V_{B}=V_{C}\)
Answer
(B) V_ A =V_ B V_ C
