Given below are two statements. One is labelled as Assertion and the other is labelled as Reason.
STATEMENT - 1 (Assertion): If \(x=a(1-\cos \theta) y=a(\theta+\sin \theta)\) then \(\left(\frac{d y}{d x}\right)_{[\text {at }:=\pi / 2]}=1\)
STATEMENT - 2 (Reason): If \(x=f(t) \& y=g(t)\) then
\(\frac{d y}{d x}=\frac{d y}{d t} / \frac{d x}{d t} \& \frac{d x}{d t} \neq 0\)
In the light of the above statements, choose the correct answer from the options given below:
- Both Assertion and Reason are individually true and Reason is feasible explanation of Assertion
- Both Assertion and Reason are individually true but Reason is not proper explanation of Assertion
- Assertion is true but Reason is false
- Assertion is false but Reason is true
Answer
(A) Both Assertion and Reason are individually true and Reason is feasible explanation of Assertion
