k (< a, b) are drawn and laid aside, their colour unnoted. Then another ball, that is, (k + 1)th ball is drawn.
Assertion : Probability that (k + 1)th ball drawn is white is \(\frac{a}{a+b}\).
Reason : Probability that (k + 1)th ball drawn is black is \(\frac{a}{a+b}\)
