A charged particle with charge q enters a region of constant, uniform and mutually orthogonal fields \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{E}}\) and \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{B}}\) with a velocity \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{V}}\) perpendicular to both \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{E}}\) and \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{B}}\), and comes out without any change in magnitude or direction of \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{V}}\). Then
  1. \(\vec{v}=\frac{\vec{E} \times \vec{B}}{B^{2}}\)
  2. \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{v}}=\frac{\overrightarrow{\mathrm{B}} \times \overrightarrow{\mathrm{E}}}{\mathrm{~B}^{2}}\)
  3. \(\vec{v}=\frac{\vec{E} \times \vec{B}}{E^{2}}\)
  4. \(\overrightarrow{\mathrm{v}}=\frac{\overrightarrow{\mathrm{B}} \times \overrightarrow{\mathrm{E}}}{\mathrm{E}^{2}}\)

Answer

(A) v = E B B^ 2
