What they do

A veterinarian (BVSc & AH graduate) diagnoses and treats diseases in animals — companion animals, livestock, poultry and wildlife. They perform surgeries, prescribe medicines, advise on animal nutrition and husbandry, and play a critical role in food safety, zoonotic disease control and public health. In India they are registered with the Veterinary Council of India (VCI).

PCB → B.V.Sc & AH (5.5 yrs).
