What they do

Tax consultants advise individuals, businesses and organisations on minimising tax liability within the law, ensuring timely compliance with direct tax (income tax, capital gains, TDS) and indirect tax (GST, customs) obligations. They represent clients before tax authorities, handle scrutiny assessments, file appeals and structure transactions to achieve tax efficiency. The role spans from individual return filing to complex multinational transfer pricing.

Education path

Commerce → B.Com + CA/CMA or tax specialisation.
