Teaches and supports children with special needs.

What they do

Special educators design and deliver learning experiences for children and adults with disabilities — including intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, hearing or visual impairment, learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia) and cerebral palsy. They assess individual needs, adapt curriculum, use assistive technologies, collaborate with therapists and parents, and advocate for inclusive schooling under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.

Education path

Graduation → B.Ed Special Education (RCI).
