What they do

Screenwriters craft the blueprint of a film, TV series, or digital content — writing dialogue, scene descriptions, character arcs, and plot structure in industry-standard script format. They may originate an original idea, adapt a novel or true story, or work on assignment for a production house or platform. In India, screenwriters often work with dialogue writers for regional language productions.
