What they do

Psychologists study human behaviour, cognition and emotion through research and applied practice. The field spans multiple specialisations — educational, organisational, forensic, sports, health and social psychology — each translating the science of the mind into practical interventions, assessments and policies. General psychologists with a strong research base find roles in academia, government, corporates and public health.

Education path

Class 12 (any stream), BA/BSc Psychology, then MA/MSc + specialisation (clinical/counselling/organisational).
