Helps people recover movement and manage pain through therapy.
What they do
A physiotherapist (BPT graduate) assesses and treats patients with movement disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions and cardiopulmonary problems using physical modalities — exercise, manual therapy, electrotherapy and patient education. They restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability. They are registered with respective State Physiotherapy Councils under the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
Education path
PCB → BPT (4.5 yrs), then optional MPT.
