What they do
Litigation lawyers handle disputes that reach courts, arbitration panels or quasi-judicial tribunals. They build the case theory, gather evidence, draft pleadings, argue oral submissions and navigate the procedural complexities of the civil or criminal justice system. Unlike transactional lawyers, their work is adversarial and court-driven.
Education path
5-yr BA-LLB or LLB, then bar enrolment.
