What they do

Landscape architects design outdoor and public spaces — parks, gardens, urban plazas, campus greens, riverfront promenades, resort grounds, golf courses, and ecological restoration sites. They integrate horticultural knowledge, spatial design, hydrology, and environmental science to create functional, aesthetic, and sustainable landscapes. The role involves detailed planting plans, hardscape specifications, irrigation design, and construction supervision.
