Helps companies raise money and do big financial deals.
What they do
Investment bankers advise corporations and governments on raising capital, executing mergers and acquisitions, restructuring debt and listing on stock exchanges. They structure complex deals — IPOs, QIPs, bond issuances, leveraged buyouts — bridging companies that need capital with investors willing to provide it. The job demands financial modelling, regulatory knowledge and relationship management at the highest levels.
Education path
Commerce → B.Com/BBA/Economics, then MBA-Finance or CFA.
