What they do

Financial analysts evaluate investment opportunities, assess company performance and build financial models to support business decisions. They analyse income statements, balance sheets, cash flows and macro indicators to forecast earnings, value assets and recommend whether to buy, hold or sell a security or project. They work in equity research, corporate finance, credit rating, treasury and consulting.
