What they do

Environmental scientists study the natural world and assess how human activities affect air, water, soil and ecosystems. They collect field samples, run lab analyses, model pollutant dispersal and prepare environmental impact assessments (EIA). Their work informs policy, industrial compliance, conservation programmes and climate adaptation strategies.

Education path

PCB/PCM → B.Sc/B.Tech Environmental Science, then M.Sc.
