What they do

Cybersecurity analysts protect an organisation's systems, networks and data from unauthorised access, breaches and attacks. They monitor security alerts from SIEM tools, investigate incidents, respond to threats, conduct vulnerability assessments and help set security policy. They are the defenders on the front line of the digital battlefield — a role growing in urgency as India's digital economy expands.

Education path

PCM → B.Tech CS/IT or BCA, then security certifications.
