What they do

Construction engineers manage the planning, execution and delivery of physical construction projects — high-rise buildings, highways, metro rail, industrial plants and large-scale real estate. They bridge the gap between design (civil/structural engineers and architects) and the actual building process, overseeing quality, safety, cost and schedule on site. The role is fundamentally about getting complex projects done on time and within budget.
