What they do

Chemists and chemical scientists investigate the composition, structure, properties and reactions of matter. They synthesise new compounds, develop analytical methods and apply chemical knowledge to create pharmaceuticals, materials, agrochemicals, polymers and industrial processes. They work across industry, government laboratories, environmental agencies and academia.

Education path

PCM → B.Sc/Integrated M.Sc Chemistry, then PhD.
