What they do
Bankers manage the flow of money between individuals, businesses and institutions — accepting deposits, extending credit, processing payments and advising customers on financial products. In India they work across public-sector banks, private banks, cooperative banks, regional rural banks and NBFCs. Roles range from branch-level customer service to corporate credit, treasury and trade finance.
Education path
Any stream → graduation, then bank exams.
