Army Officer — Defense

Leads soldiers and serves the nation in the Army.

What they do

Army officers lead, train and command soldiers in peace and war. They are responsible for the operational effectiveness, welfare and discipline of their troops across combat arms, support arms and services. In peacetime they manage training schedules, maintain equipment and support civil authorities in disaster relief; in operations they plan and execute missions.

Education path

Class 12/graduation → NDA or CDS.
