Applied Artist — Applied Arts
Creates art for real-world use — branding, products, spaces.
What they do
Applied artists create artworks and designs with a practical, functional purpose — crafting objects, surfaces, or visual identities that are both beautiful and usable. They work across ceramics, textiles, metalwork, jewellery, printmaking, calligraphy, and mural art, applying traditional craft skills and contemporary design sensibilities to produce work for commercial clients, galleries, public spaces, and cultural institutions.
