The Mindler alternative built into your school platform
Mindler built a serious career-guidance business in India, and its counsellor network is a genuine strength — a trained human talking a family through a decision is something software does not replace. Edukali Pathfinder answers a narrower question well: four assessments and one report that give a student ranked stream options with the reasoning shown, every trait explained in plain language, and a 90-day plan — inside the platform the school already runs, with no separate vendor.
What Mindler does well
Mindler is an Indian career-guidance platform combining psychometric assessments with counsellor sessions.
- A large network of trained career counsellors for one-to-one sessions.
- Long-running, well-known assessment products with substantial reach in Indian schools.
- Structured programmes covering college and scholarship guidance beyond the assessment itself.
Why teachers pick Edukali
- Ranked streams with visible reasoning — the student sees why a direction was suggested, not just a score.
- Every trait explained in plain language, plus a concrete 90-day plan for whichever direction the family picks.
- Part of the same platform as the school’s courses, exams and results — no separate vendor, login or purchase.
- One platform: the same account runs courses, question papers, online exams, live quizzes, OMR and AI grading — results land in one gradebook.
- India-first pricing in ₹ with a free tier for individual teachers; white-label available for institutions.

Frequently asked
Does Pathfinder include sessions with a counsellor?
No. Pathfinder is career guidance, not counselling or diagnosis — that boundary is deliberate. If a family wants one-to-one counselling, a dedicated counselling service is the right choice, and Mindler is strong there.
What does the student actually get?
Four assessments feeding one report: ranked stream options with the reasoning visible, each trait explained in plain language, and a 90-day plan.
Is it suitable for Class 10 stream selection?
Yes — that is the decision it is built for, replacing a guess with ranked options the student can see the reasoning behind.
Do we buy it separately?
No. It sits inside the platform the school already uses, so there is no second vendor, login or procurement cycle.
Does it advise on colleges and scholarships?
Not today. That is genuinely part of what the dedicated career platforms offer, and we would rather say so than imply parity.
