Build a print-ready paper in minutes.

Overview

Compose papers on a drag-and-drop canvas — sections, page breaks, alternative questions — or let AI draft the whole thing from a chapter PDF. Export a clean PDF with answer key.

Edit on a page that prints exactly as it looks

Paper Canva is a true-to-print canvas, not a form that emails you a PDF and hopes for the best. Drag questions into place, split the paper into sections, force page breaks where the invigilator needs them, and pair alternative "or" questions — numbering, marks and pagination update live as you work, so what fills the screen is what leaves the printer. Lay out one column, two, or mix them, putting MCQs side by side and long answers full width. Undo and redo cover every change to questions, settings and layout, and AI Toolkit content drops in as editable blocks.

A million-question library, docked beside your paper

Pull from a bank of more than a million board-tagged questions without leaving the editor. A docked side panel searches and filters by board, class, subject, chapter, topic, difficulty and Bloom’s level, then drops questions straight onto the page in one motion. When you would rather not choose, random-add fills a whole section from the entire filtered bank — useful for the third version of a paper nobody wants to build by hand. The bank looks after the details that cost marks later: out-of-syllabus questions are flagged before they reach print, a duplicate detector catches near-identical items already on the page, and any single question swaps out in a click.

Draft the whole paper from a chapter PDF

Point the AI at a PDF, an image, pasted text or a YouTube video and it drafts questions that arrive typed, tagged and difficulty-tiered rather than as a wall of text to sort out yourself. Existing banks import from PDF, Word, images, CSV or Excel, with OCR for scanned documents and batch tracking so a thousand-question import is auditable. Nothing reaches a paper unreviewed: every batch lands in a moderation queue to review, fix and approve. A pedagogical audit then checks Bloom’s distribution, difficulty spread and topic coverage, and a difficulty balancer visualises the easy, medium and hard mix and suggests swaps.

Board-quality print, in any language you teach in

Control paper size, margins, fonts, numbering style and marks display down to the millimetre — A4, A3, A5, Letter, Legal or a custom size, with margin presets so the staff-room copier stops eating the last line. Add an institution header, a watermark or logo, and footer variables that fill themselves in. Then print a student copy, a teacher copy and a compact objective answer key from one preview. Bilingual mode renders English beside Hindi or another language, translated once and saved back to your bank so the next paper reuses it. Export to PDF, Word, Moodle XML or QTI, or just share a link.

Start from a blueprint, not a blank page

Most papers a school sets are not new — they are last term’s pattern with this term’s chapters. Apply a JEE, NEET or CBSE exam template to pre-configure sections, marks and structure, or save your own house pattern once and have every weekly test and term exam follow it without anyone re-deciding the format. Any paper converts into an online exam or an OMR exam with its structure preserved, so the same blueprint serves all three delivery channels. And when you would rather not start at all, the marketplace has ready-made papers and question packs to buy — or to sell, if yours are good.

Weekly test papers at production scale

Set a JEE or NEET pattern template once, random-fill from the bank by chapter, and print versioned papers with matching answer keys every week. The evening that used to go on paper-making shrinks to minutes, and because the pattern is saved rather than remembered, the tenth paper of the term has the same structure as the first.

Board-pattern papers, uniformly formatted

Every department prints papers carrying the same header, watermark and marking style, so a Class 9 Science paper and a Class 12 Commerce paper look like they came from one school. Case-based and assertion–reason questions render exactly to CBSE convention, and bilingual mode covers state-board sections without anyone maintaining a second document.

From chapter PDF to printed paper in one sitting

Upload the chapter, let the AI draft the questions, do a quick edit pass on the canvas and export a clean PDF with its answer key. No Word wrestling, no formula images pasted in from somewhere else, and no discovering at the photocopier that the last question broke across two pages.
