Users (School Admin)
The roster of every teacher, student and parent — search, filter, add, bulk-import, grant access, change roles, enrol, message and offboard.
What this page does
The Users page is your school roster — every teacher, student, parent and admin in one searchable, filterable table. From here you add people one at a time or import a whole roster, grant product / subject access, change roles, enrol members into courses, message them, reset passwords, suspend, reactivate and remove accounts.
Four clickable stat cards (Total members / Students / Teachers / Courses) double as quick role filters. The table shows User (name, email, phone), Role, Course / Section, Status (active / pending / suspended) and Last login, sortable by name and last login. Tick rows to reveal the bulk action bar.
Common tasks
Click Add user to create a single member, or Bulk import to upload a CSV/Excel roster via the import wizard.
Narrow the list with the search box, the status toggle (all / active / pending / suspended), the role dropdown, and the cascading course → section and department filters.
Tick one or more rows, then use the bulk bar to Grant access, Change role, Enrol in course, Activate, Message, Reset password, Suspend or Remove.
Click a row to open the edit drawer; use the row "⋮" menu to impersonate, reset, suspend, reactivate or delete a single user.
Use Export CSV to download the currently filtered roster.
Remove is a soft-delete — users disappear from rosters but can be restored from the database. Suspend blocks sign-in until reactivated. Bulk versions apply the same action to every selected row.
Buttons, filters & columns
Header button — opens the single-user create modal (name, username, email, role).
Opens the user import wizard for CSV/Excel roster upload (standard roster columns incl. cohort & role).
Downloads the current, filtered roster as a CSV file.
Bulk-bar action — opens the Grant Access wizard to give selected users product / subject access.
Bulk-bar dropdown — sets selected users to Student, Teacher, Parent or Org Admin.
Bulk-bar dropdown — enrols selected users into a chosen course.
Sends a reset email. The current password keeps working until the user resets it.
Blocks the user from signing in until reactivated. Destructive-styled.
Soft-deletes the user from rosters. Restorable from the database.
Sends an email (subject + body) to every selected member.
