Teacher Subjects (School Admin)
A click-to-toggle grid mapping which subjects each teacher owns — it drives question-bank scoping, exam permissions and report scoping.
What this page does
The Teacher Subjects page is a matrix of teachers (rows) against subjects (columns). Clicking a cell toggles whether that teacher is assigned to that subject. These assignments drive what each teacher can do: question-bank scoping, exam permissions and report scoping all follow from them. Stat cards count Teachers, Subjects, Assignments and Unassigned teachers (which warns when above zero).
Common tasks
Optionally narrow the subject columns with the Board and Grade dropdowns.
Search for a teacher by name or email to find their row.
Click any cell to toggle the assignment on (filled, with a check) or off.
Use the All / Unassigned teachers / Unassigned subjects tabs to find gaps quickly.
Watch the Unassigned teachers stat — teachers with no subjects can't scope their question bank, exams or reports. Each cell toggle saves immediately.

Dropdowns that narrow the visible subject columns (Grade is enabled once a Board is chosen).
Filters teacher rows by name or email.
All / Unassigned teachers / Unassigned subjects toggles with live counts.
Click to assign / unassign a teacher↔subject; assigned cells are filled with a check and save instantly.
