Invites (School Admin)
Self-serve invite links that let teachers and students register themselves into the right role, course and section.
What this page does
The Invites page generates self-serve invite links. Anyone with a link can register themselves into a specific role (Teacher or Student), optionally scoped to a course and section, with an expiry and an optional usage cap. Three stat cards summarise Active, Inactive and Expired links; the table lists each link with its scope, status, usage, expiry and creator.
Common tasks
Click Generate invite link and choose a role (Teacher or Student).
Optionally pick a course, then a section, to pre-scope where the link enrols people.
Set Expires in (days) (default 30) and an optional Max uses cap.
Click Generate link, then use the Copy button to share the URL — or Generate another.
In the table, use the Copy action to re-copy an active link, or Revoke to disable one.
For sensitive roles, set a small Max uses value so the link cannot be over-shared. Revoking a link only breaks future sign-ups — already-accepted accounts are unaffected.
Buttons, filters & columns
Opens the create modal (role, course, section, expiry, max uses) and produces a shareable URL.
Pill toggle — active / expired / inactive / all — plus a search box over role, course, section and creator.
Copies the invite URL to the clipboard. Disabled for inactive links.
Disables an active link so future sign-ups fail. Already-accepted accounts are unaffected.
Role, Scope (course / section or whole organization), Status, Uses (current / max), Expires and Created (with creator email).
