Courses (School Admin)
Create and manage courses and their sections — the backbone for rosters, subjects, teachers and exam assignments.
What this page does
The Courses page lists every course in your school with its grade, academic year, section count and student count. Courses group students into sections and are referenced everywhere — rosters, subject and teacher assignments, exam assignments and reports. Expand a row to manage its sections inline, or open a course to edit settings, add subjects and teachers, and enrol users.
Three stat cards summarise Courses / Sections / Students. Search by name or grade and filter by academic year, department or category.
Common tasks
Click New course and fill the course settings form (name, grade, academic year, category, etc.), then create it.
Expand a course row to manage sections — rename, delete, or Add section.
Click a course (or its edit pencil) to open the course drawer: assign a department, add subjects & teachers, and enrol users.
In the drawer, click Enrol users to add students or teachers via the department → class → section filter tree.
Use Star in the drawer to flag a teacher as the course teacher (grants all subjects).
Deleting a course that has enrolled students requires a type-to-confirm step — it removes them from all sections and exam assignments and cannot be undone. Student accounts themselves are kept.
