Attendance (School Admin)
Mark daily student attendance per class and section — everyone starts Present so you only tap the exceptions (P/A/L/HD/LV) — and read a monthly register with per-student percentages.
What this page does
The Attendance page marks daily student attendance for a chosen class and section. It has two views: Daily, where you set each student’s status for a date, and Monthly, a register matrix of the whole month. Everyone defaults to Present, so you only tap the exceptions. The five status codes are P (Present), A (Absent), L (Late), HD (Half day) and LV (Leave).
In Daily view a status bar tallies each code live, All present resets the roster, and Save attendance persists the day. In Monthly view each student is a row and each day a column, with an attendance % that counts P and L as full and HD as half; H marks a holiday.
Common tasks
Pick the Class and Section (or All sections), and confirm the Date — it defaults to today and can’t be set in the future.
Everyone starts Present — tap A / L / HD / LV only for the students who differ. Watch the count bar update as you go.
Use All present to reset the whole roster to P, then override the exceptions.
Click Save attendance to record the day. The page shows when it was last saved.
Switch to Monthly and choose a month to read the register — per-day codes and a per-student percentage.
Attendance is linked to Student leave — approving a leave request writes L or HD into this register for the dates automatically, so approved leave shows up here without re-keying.
