Import Batches
Bulk-import questions into the bank from CSV/Excel, XML or PDF/doc (AI extraction), then track each batch through review and approval.
What this screen shows
The Import Batches tab is where you add questions to the bank in bulk — from a CSV/Excel sheet, an XML file, or a PDF / document the AI extracts questions from — and then track each import as a batch. Every batch shows its source type and a status (Draft → Review → Approved) with question counts, so a large import moves through a clear QC pipeline before its questions become usable in an exam. Search, filter by status and page through the list.
This is the same Import Batches tool shared across Paper Canva, Online Exam and Live Quiz. The Live Quiz Import Batches tab runs the identical flow, and the Question Library (linked below) is where you browse and pick from what you have imported.
Controls on this screen
Upload a spreadsheet of questions mapped to your columns.
PDF / document → questions
Let the AI extract questions from a PDF or document you upload.
Generate questions from pasted content, then land them in a batch.
Filter batches by Draft / Review / Approved; search by title and page through.
Review the extracted questions, edit any that need fixing, and see per-question QC state.
Approve reviewed questions so they join the shared bank; QC stats track review-required vs approved.
The dedicated question-QC dashboard is superadmin-only; teachers and org staff still review and approve their own import batches here.
