Past Papers
A downloadable library of past exam papers — browse a Board → Grade → Subject tree and pull down question papers and mark schemes as PDFs, grouped by year and series.
What this screen shows
The Past Papers tab is a download library of real past exam papers in Edukali. A left sidebar mirrors Smart Notes — a Browse Past Papers folder tree of Board → Grade → Subject (the same subject can recur under IGCSE, AS and A Level, so it is a tree, not a flat list), with a syllabus code and a paper count on each subject. Pick a subject and the main pane lists its papers grouped by Series + Year; every paper row carries a Question Paper and a Mark Scheme download button. The library is unlocked by the same subject purchase as your Smart Notes, so the subjects you can read notes for are the subjects whose papers appear here.
Common tasks
Expand the Browse Past Papers tree to your Board → Grade → Subject (boards and grades are open by default).
Click a subject to load its papers, grouped by series and year.
For any Paper N row, click Question Paper to download the QP PDF, or Mark Scheme for the MS PDF.
A greyed-out button means that PDF isn’t available for that paper yet.
Controls on this screen
A Board → Grade → Subject folder tree in the left sidebar. Boards and grades are folders with chevron toggles; each subject leaf shows its syllabus code and a badge with how many papers it holds, and highlights when selected.
The selected subject’s papers, grouped under a heading per exam period (series and year), newest sittings surfaced together.
Downloads the question-paper PDF for that paper number; disabled (greyed) when no QP is on file for the row.
Downloads the matching mark-scheme PDF; disabled (greyed) when no MS is on file for the row.
Past papers unlock with your Smart Notes purchase — unlocking a subject for Smart Notes also unlocks its past papers. Until then this tab shows a locked state prompting a purchase, and access is enforced server-side, not just hidden in the tree.
