Mind Map Studio
Build interactive mind maps with AI — from a topic, a PDF, a recording or a YouTube link — with real typeset maths and chemistry in the nodes, revision markers, colour rules, sharing and course activities.
What it is
Mind Map Studio turns a chapter into a picture your class can think with. Give it a topic — or a PDF, a Word or PowerPoint file, a recorded lesson, a web page, a YouTube link or a pasted passage — and it builds a mind map pitched at your board, class and chapter, with coloured branches and labelled cross-link arrows between related ideas. Then you keep working on it: grow a branch with AI, ask the map questions in chat, mark nodes for revision, colour the whole map by how confident your students are, and walk it branch by branch in presentation mode. Maps are living documents — every edit is checkpointed, and a map can be shared by link, published read-only, exported, or attached to a course as an activity.
The maths is real. Write $...$ LaTeX in any node label and it is typeset properly — fractions, vectors, and full chemistry via mhchem, e.g. $\ce{2H2 + O2 - 2H2O}$. Most mind map tools show formulas as flat text; here a Class 10 Science map reads like the textbook.
How it works
- Pitch it at your syllabus. Pick board → class → subject → chapter. Generated maps are written at that level and tagged with it.
Generate or import. Describe a topic and let AI draw the first map, or bring a document, recording, web page or YouTube link — figures found in the source are extracted and attached to the matching nodes. Refine on the canvas. Drag to reorder, collapse branches, use the node AI actions — Expand, Summarise, Focus, Mnemonic, Explain — or ask for changes in chat; chat edits arrive as small targeted operations, never a rewrite of the whole map. Mark it up for revision. Importance, difficulty, revision state and Bloom level show as glyphs on the canvas; colour rules can paint the map from those markers in one click.
- Use it with a class. Present it full-screen, share it by link, attach it to a course as an activity, or export it.
What it costs
AI actions — generating, importing, node actions and chat — draw on your AI Units. Editing by hand, viewing, sharing and exporting are free. If you run out of units mid-session you see a clear message, and everything except the AI keeps working.
