Edukali AI Toolkit

125 board-aligned AI tools for teachers and students — lesson plans, quizzes, papers, rubrics, emails, feedback and more, every generation routable into your papers, exams, OMR sheets and courses.

What it is

The Edukali AI Toolkit is a suite of 125 AI tools for teachers and students, organised into six categories — Planning (18), Assessment (18), Communication (8), Content (19), Student Support (21) and Student Tools (41). Every tool is board-aligned by default: the same Board → Class → Subject → Chapter pickers appear across the toolkit and drive AI that follows your board’s syllabus and marking style. Whatever a tool produces is never a dead end — text can be exported or dropped into an LMS course, and generated questions route straight into the Question Bank, Paper Canva, an Online Exam, an OMR sheet or an Offline answer sheet.

Who it's for

The AI Toolkit runs on the aitoolkit:use permission — teachers, managers, org admins and org owners can open and run tools. The product tile is surfaced to teacher, parent and admin roles. Students never need the toolkit permission themselves: a teacher assigns any tool (or a guarded chatbot) into an LMS course, and students run it there — which is how the 41 Student Tools reach learners.

Running a tool spends metered AI credits from your AI wallet (shown as an AU cost on each result, with the balance after). If the wallet is empty a clear “out of AI credits” panel appears instead of a result — top up or ask your org admin to raise the budget. Previewing a tool’s example costs nothing.

Key capabilities

- 125 board-aligned tools across six categories, each with its own input form and worked example. - Board-first taxonomy everywhere — Board → Class → Subject → Chapter pickers, chained canonically (a board filters classes, board+class filter subjects, subject filters chapters). - Plan a Lesson — describe a class and topic; the toolkit maps a beginning → during → end lesson arc, each phase a real tool with prefilled inputs. - Question Paper generator — a universal, board-pattern mock-paper builder with a chapter picker and a marks blueprint. - A shared runner every tool inherits — LLM picker, output-depth control, prompt assistant, voice input, file attach, worked examples, board-format proof, branded exports, Add-to-Course, Send-to routing and Save-to-Resources. - Guarded student chatbots — build a course-grounded AI companion that answers from a course’s own published content and assign it into that course, with server-side safety guardrails and wellbeing monitoring always on. - My Resources — a library of everything you save.

The five tabs

The dashboard — hero, Recommended tools, Recent activity and the Build-a-student-chatbot card.

Turn a class + topic into a suggested beginning → during → end arc of AI resources.

Build an original mock paper in any board’s own pattern and marking system.

Search and browse the full catalog of 125 tools, shelved by category.

Your saved generations in a proper library: a category → tool tree sidebar with live counts, All / Favorites tabs, search plus Tool / Type / Saved-date filters and newest-oldest sort. Each card can Open (questions reopen with the full Send-to router, text is editable in place), Run again or delete.

Every one of the 125 tools has its own guide under Help → AI Toolkit Tools, documenting its inputs and output. This overview and the tab articles cover the shared surface those pages all build on.
