Text Scaffolder

Wrap a hard text with vocabulary support, chunked check-ins, and comprehension questions.

What Text Scaffolder does

Text Scaffolder takes a text that's a stretch for your class and builds the support around it — pre-teaches the tricky vocabulary, breaks the passage into chunks with a check-in after each, and adds comprehension questions. Instead of levelling the text down, it keeps the original and gives weaker readers the ladders to climb it, so the whole class can work with the real thing.

Every input, explained

This reference is generated from the live tool definition, field by field.

Pick the education board (CBSE, CIE, state boards…). Every dropdown after this cascades from it, and the generated output follows that board’s syllabus wording. Required.

The class the material is for — sets age-appropriate depth and vocabulary. Required.

Subject list is scoped to the board and class you picked above. Required.

Choices: Concise — quick and tight · Standard · Detailed — extra depth & examples. Default: Standard. Optional.

Choices: Yes — AI adds diagrams & images where helpful · No — text only. Default: Yes. Optional.

Additional customization (optional)

e.g. Anything else the AI should keep in mind — tone, format, constraints, examples… Optional.

How to use it

Paste the demanding passage into Text to scaffold, or attach it via Add file.

Set Board, Class and Subject so the vocabulary support and questions match your syllabus.

Pick an Output depth and click Generate.

Not sure what to type? Click **Show example** in the form header — it fills every field with a real worked example (CBSE · Class 8 · Social Science) and shows a pre-generated result without spending any AI credits. Undo restores your draft.

The runner also gives you a ✨ prompt assistant and voice input on text fields, file upload to pull in your own notes, and — where your board publishes one — an official-format proof panel.

Your document & what to do with it

The result renders as a clean A4 document you can read on screen. From the output header you can Copy it, **Export** it as a branded PDF, Word, HTML or Markdown file, or send it into an LMS course as a page activity with **Add to Course**. One click on **Save to My Resources** keeps the result in your library for later.

Use this instead of Text Leveler when the exact wording matters — a poem, a primary-source extract, or a set text — and you can't simplify the words away.
