Parent Newsletter

Turn a month or term’s highlights into a warm, well-structured newsletter for parents.

What Parent Newsletter does

Parent Newsletter takes a rough round-up of what the school did and turns it into a friendly, well-sectioned newsletter parents will actually finish. Give it the month or term and a bullet-dump of highlights — events held, achievements, class activities, new initiatives — plus any upcoming dates, and it arranges the lot into a readable letter home. The built-in example turns a July round-up (a Van Mahotsav tree-planting week, an ISRO exhibition trip, a kho-kho tournament win) into a finished newsletter. This is the whole-school version run from the office; for a single class, reach for Class Newsletter instead.

How to use it

Open Edukali AI Toolkit → All Tools, find Parent Newsletter under Communication and click the card.

Fill in Month / term, Highlights to include (the remaining fields are optional).

Choose an Output depth and, if you like, a specific AI model, then click Generate.

Not sure what to type? Click **Show example** in the form header — it fills every field with a real worked example and shows a pre-generated result without spending any AI credits. Undo restores your draft.

The runner also gives you a ✨ prompt assistant and voice input on text fields, file upload to pull in your own notes, and — where your board publishes one — an official-format proof panel.

Your document & what to do with it

The result renders as a clean A4 document you can read on screen. From the output header you can Copy it, **Export** it as a branded PDF, Word, HTML or Markdown file, or send it into an LMS course as a page activity with **Add to Course**. One click on **Save to My Resources** keeps the result in your library for later.

You don’t need to write prose — dump the highlights as short bullets and let the tool find the flow and the section headings. The more specific each bullet (names, classes, results), the less generic the newsletter reads.

Put dates parents must act on into Upcoming dates rather than burying them in the highlights, so the PTM or unit-test schedule lands where families look for it.
