Activity — Zoom

Run a live video class over Zoom, launched as a course activity.

What it is

A Zoom activity runs a live video class over Zoom from inside your course, so students join their class meeting alongside the rest of the course content.

Before you start

Zoom uses the real Zoom API and needs credentials configured under Settings → Integrations, resolved in the server → reseller → tenant cascade. Set them up before scheduling sessions.

How to add it

In Course content, click Add activity in a topic.

Title the session and configure it in the video-conference form (configMode: videoconf) — an optional Session length in minutes and a Recording toggle.

What students see

Students open the activity inside the course (openMode: viewer) and join the Zoom meeting when it starts.

Completion

Not graded. Completion tracking is a per-activity setting — the default here is manual (the student marks it done), and you can also turn tracking off in the activity settings. Whichever you pick feeds the course progress bar.
