Activity — Wiki

A collaborative, multi-page space with per-page edit history and restore.

What it is

A Wiki is a collaborative set of linked pages the class builds together. Each page has its own revision history you can view and restore, and — if you allow it — students can create and edit pages themselves. Glossary terms auto-link inside wiki pages.

How to add it

In Course content, click Add activity in a topic.

Set the first page title (created automatically so the wiki is never empty) and toggle Students can create and edit pages (configMode: wiki).

What students see

Students open the wiki in an in-app viewer (openMode: viewer) with a page-list rail on the left and the selected page on the right. Where editing is allowed they can add new pages and edit existing ones; concurrent edits are guarded — if someone else saved while they were editing, they are prompted to reload. Everyone can open History to see revisions.

Completion

Not graded. Completion tracking is a per-activity setting — manual by default, or turn it off in the activity settings; completions feed the course progress bar.
