Resource — Video
Embed a YouTube/Vimeo link or an uploaded video in an inline player.
What it is
A Video resource plays a recorded video right inside the course. Unlike a plain Link, it embeds an inline player so students watch without leaving the page. Source it from YouTube/Vimeo or an uploaded file.
How to add it
In Course content, click Add activity in a topic.
Title it, then provide a YouTube/Vimeo link or upload a video file (configMode: video).
What students see
The video plays in an inline viewer inside the course (openMode: viewer) — no new tab.
Content protection
Videos stream view-only by default — students watch in the inline player but the download control and right-click Save are turned off, and picture-in-picture is disabled. Each video activity has an Allow download toggle in its settings; turn it on only when you want students to keep a copy. View-only is a deterrent, not unbreakable protection (a determined user can still screen-record).
Completion
Not graded. Completion tracking is a per-activity setting — manual by default (students mark it done after watching), or turn it off; it feeds the course progress bar.
