Activity — Pathfinder
Stream & career discovery via psychometric assessments, attached to a course.
What it is
A Pathfinder activity attaches a psychometric assessment from the Pathfinder product — used for stream and career discovery. Pick the specific instrument students should take.
How to add it
In Course content, click Add activity in a topic.
Choose an assessment instrument from the picker (configMode: instance, from /api/v2/psychometric/instruments); each shows its estimated minutes and whether it is premium.
What students see
Students are navigated to the assessment (openMode: navigate → /discover/:code) to complete it and get their discovery results.
A teacher clicking the tile first sees a Student activity notice — completing the assessment would record against your account, not the class. Use Open the student flow anyway to preview it.
Completion
Not graded in the course gradebook. Completion tracking is a per-activity setting — manual by default here, or turn it off in the activity settings. Completions feed the course progress bar.
