A short inline note or heading shown directly on the course page.
What it is
A Text & media item (a label) is a short note, heading or sub-divider shown inline on the course page itself — there is nothing to click into. Use it to introduce a group of activities, add instructions between rows, or visually break up a long topic.
How to add it
In Course content, click Add activity in a topic.
Type the short text shown inline (configMode: text).
What students see
The text appears directly in the topic — there is nothing to open (openMode: none). It is purely presentational.
Completion
A label carries no completion and no grade — it is a heading/note, not a task.
