Resource — Book
A multi-chapter resource presented in a book-like, paged format.
What it is
A Book is a multi-chapter resource — like a Page, but split into chapters with their own table of contents and next/previous navigation. Use it for longer material you want students to read in sequence.
How to add it
In Course content, click Add activity in a topic.
Title the book, then author its chapters — each chapter is its own block of rich HTML (configMode: book).
What students see
Students open the book in an in-app viewer (openMode: viewer), browse chapters from a contents list, and page through them.
Completion
Not graded. Completion tracking is a per-activity setting — the default here is manual (the student marks it done), and you can also turn tracking off in the activity settings. Whichever you pick feeds the course progress bar.
