Activity — AI Tutor
A self-hosted AI tutor students can talk to, launched from the course.
What it is
An AI Tutor activity gives students a launch tile into the platform's AI Tutor — an interactive tutor they can ask questions and work through problems with. Each student gets a fresh, stateless session; there is no shared instance to pick.
How to add it
In Course content, click Add activity in a topic.
Title the launch tile (configMode: launch — no instance to pick).
What students see
Students open the tile and are navigated straight into a tutor session (openMode: navigate → /ai/edukali-tutor), ready to chat.
Completion
Not graded. Completion tracking is a per-activity setting — the default here is manual (the student marks it done), and you can also turn tracking off in the activity settings. Whichever you pick feeds the course progress bar.
