A self-hosted AI tutor your students can talk to.

Overview

Step-by-step help on every problem, awake at 2am — metered in AI Units so you’re never over budget. Built on multi-provider AI with automatic failover, so students never see "service unavailable".

Not a chatbot — a classroom

Students step into a multi-agent classroom: an AI teacher, AI classmates, speech, a whiteboard and quizzes, available whenever they study — including two in the morning before the exam. The tutor does not just answer in text. It generates live interactive widgets on the board — six kinds, from simulations and games to diagrams, code and three-dimensional visualisations — then works through them with the student, highlighting and annotating as a teacher would at a real board. Mathematics is typeset properly with KaTeX inside every widget rather than mangled into plain characters, and sessions can run as project-based learning rather than a stream of questions and answers.

Every token metered, so cost never runs away

Every AI call the tutor makes is metered in AI Units against real token usage — measured per call across every provider, not estimated after the fact — and the balance is checked before each turn, so a negative balance is not something you discover in an invoice. A live meter sits above the classroom and refreshes as students work. When units run out the tutor pauses instead of quietly billing on, and a hard per-response ceiling stops a runaway generation mid-stream. Every session is accounted for in the usage ledger. For a parent buying one seat, or a school buying four hundred, the ceiling is genuinely the ceiling.

Sixteen AI providers, one tutor

The tutor routes across sixteen AI providers — global frontier models alongside Indian and open-weight options — plus speech recognition and text-to-speech providers for voice conversations, and image and video providers for the multimodal classroom. Switching between them takes no reload. Keys are managed centrally in Settings and resolved in order of user, then school, then platform, and never reach the browser or the tutor container, which is the part most integrations get wrong. Bring your own key and usage bills to your account rather than ours, while metering still records what was spent, so a school can audit consumption either way.

Seats, courses and a classroom that follows the login

Buy a base licence and per-student seats, assign them to a class, and every student gets their own private tutor. Classrooms, chats and generated media sync to their login and follow them across devices, staying isolated per user even on a shared lab computer where the next child sits down twenty minutes later. Any signed-in user can try it free before buying. Teachers add the tutor to a course as an activity like any other, so it lives beside the exams and practice for the same chapter rather than in a separate app. The whole experience carries your school’s name, logo and colours.

Doubt-solving at homework hour, with a hard budget

When homework gets stuck at 9pm, the tutor is awake: a patient AI teacher that explains at the board instead of handing over answers. Buy a seat for your child, watch the AI Unit meter, and know the monthly ceiling is exactly what you set.

A tutor seat for every student, under school branding

License seats for a class or the whole school and assign them in minutes. Each student gets a private, synced classroom under your school’s name and colours, teachers drop the tutor into courses as an activity, and administration keeps one metered bill.

After-hours support between batches

Your faculty teach the batch; the tutor covers the hours in between. Students revisit the day’s concepts in an interactive classroom that draws diagrams and runs quizzes, while per-seat licensing and AI Unit caps keep the economics predictable.
